Need some help?

Here's some basic help in getting up and running with Chinswing. We'll be expanding this in the future...

Why can't I hear anything on Chinswing?
The playback of all audio on Chinswing is through a player that uses Flash-based technology. Make sure you update to the latest version of Flash. Sounds obvious, but also make sure you have your speakers turned on ;-)

Why can't I record my voice using the Chinswing voice recorder?
Firstly, make sure you have your microphone plugged in, and that the audio settings on your computer allow for recording through a microphone.

Chinswing uses Java technology to record your voice from within the web browser. Most problems can be solved by updating Java on your system. For Windows systems, click here. For Mac OSX systems, the latest Java release for Intel and PPC Macs can be found here.

If you still have problems, it may be a general Java problem not related to Chinswing. Go to www.javatester.org for more info about making sure Java is working on your computer.

Nothing here seems to help. Where can I get the help I need?
If you have a problem getting Chinswing to work, send us as much information about the problem (error messages, symptoms, etc.) as you can by using the contact & feedback page.

You can also use the contact & feedback page to contact us about anything else, too!
